What’s A Message Board?
Think of the JD Heritage’s Message Board as a high-tech bulletin
board. Instead of using a thumbtack, simply post your messages within
the space provided. It can be viewed by and responded to by other enthusiasts.
There are two types of messages you can send.
1. Private Message: After logging on, send a message through the Control
Panel selection. You’ll have six choices.
Inbox: Your personal
JD Heritage mailbox
Compose: Send a private message to another JD Heritage user
Sent
Messages: View the status of the messages you sent
Friends List: Build a customized list of JD Heritage friends
Edit
Profile: Alter information in your personal profile
Subscriptions: Select and subscribe to message boards to automatically
receive emails when new information is posted.
2. Public Message: After logging
on, access public messages from the Message Board selections on the
main Forum screen. There, you’ll
discover several topics related to the chosen forum.
Click
on an underlined topic to view user responses
If desired, add your own response
You may subscribe to any topic. Then, as discussion continues, you
receive email messages from the chosen topics.
Other features:
Member Tab: Located on the Main Screen, view all registered members
and log-on status
Global Polls: Vote on changing polling questions
Calendar Tab: A calendar of noteworthy collector-related events
