ORDER PROCESSING AND PACKAGE DELIVERY. Shipping and brokerage fees are based on order value (in U.S. dollars). The majority of in-stock items will be processed and leave our fulfillment center in the United States WITHIN 24 HOURS. Orders destined for Canada MUST add additional shipping to their order to cover our additional delivery costs You may do that here. Given the assortment of merchandise offered in the JD Heritage catalogs, items can vary significantly in both size and weight. Items ordered may not be shipped together in the same package or be received at the same time. You can expect to receive PRIORITY shipping in 5 TO 7 DAYS and STANDARD shipping in 10 TO 14 BUSINESS DAYS. Delivery can be shorter in metropolitan areas.

DUTIES AND GST. Canadian law requires us to collect GST on all orders shipped to destinations within Canada at the rate of 7% on merchandise amount and Canadian duty charge. Instead of applying a "flat" duty charge to our entire product line, we charge one rate for product originating in the U.S. and another for non-NAFTA countries of origin. In 1998 all goods "deemed" to originate in the U.S. will be duty-free.

By ordering from JD Heritage I authorize X-Pac Inc to act as my agent (for customs purposes only) and to transact business with Revenue Canada to clear my merchandise, pay duties and taxes, handle any merchandise returns, and file refund claims on my behalf. I further waive and transfer my right to receive the actual amount of my refund of duties and takes to X-Pac Inc. It is my understanding that all duty and tax paid will in turn be refunded to me directly by JD Heritage.

As of June 1, 1999, Ontario residents will be subject to also pay the PST at 8%.
