Threaded Airloc 160 simple installation instructions

Clean back face of receptacle
1.) Clean back face of receptacle and mounting arm with a grease cleaning solvent to provide clean surface for cushioned washer.

Peel cover and Install cushioned washer
2.) Remove sticky tape cover from cushioned washer and insert into back of 1/4 turn receptacle, then press.

Insert nut through backside of receptacle
3.) Our threaded nut adaptor fits inside the tractors 1/4 turn receptacle nut without modifying the original design, and can be removed without damage, if you later decide to remove this system

Install hood and insert threaded Airloc 160 Fasteners

4.) The hood is now placed on the tractor and the threaded fasteners are inserted through the normal locations.

This system allows you to fine tune the snugness of the fasteners without over extending the sheet metal to get the fasteners to mate.
In addition you may align all the fasteners to match each others orientation for that perfect look
You might also choose to use your own nuts as a way to secure the threaded fastener, in that case any 5/16" nut will do the trick.

You might also choose to install our "Classic" Airloc 160 hood fastener. It has two holes to choose best fit for your tractors needs. Click here to visit that Fastener.
