What are operating Instructions ? | ![]() |
|
The Operating instructions are an early blend of the Operators Manual, Service Manual, and at times the Parts Catalog. (see those manuals described in other sections) The Operating Instructions were published only for very early unstyled tractors. These manuals are the beginnings of the later manuals. The operation Instructions provide the same basic information about starting and stopping these early tractors as well as oil and coolant service information, however additional information is provided about bearing clearances and valve seating information. Several of the Operating Instructions provide exploded views and parts number information. These manuals are very brief in there information containing less than 30 pages of information at times.
